I met this man on Ourtime.com. He pulled the same scam on me. He was in Austin, then New York and then he had a project in Kiev. He was trying to collect 8.6M dollars in Canada and I was to fly out there to help him retrieve his funds. Unfortunately, I did fly out there, however, never met him. I was to bring 7,500. I was hesitant, but flew out there but told him I was not bringing funds to help him out. If he was an international civil engineer he should have the funds. I left after being there for a day in half in Toronto. He is very smooth. Things were not adding up, especially with his very thick accent and yet sometimes he would write beautifully and others e-mails written like a foreigner. After I returned home, I tried to contact him...since I really wanted to talk to the jerk. However, he was smart and would not respond. I too looked him up in the directory of engineers and he did not exist.
