I want to find out if anyone has had contact with this gentleman. He has told me that he lives in Dulles, Virginia; however, i have found him on several other web sites, saying that he lives in Kansas City, Kansas, Dulles, Virginia, or Derby England.

A little background information about the gentleman. I previously saw the gentleman on zoosk.com, and for whatever reason i did not contact him. Several months later, I found his profile on Match.com where I proceeded to send him a wink. Several hours later, he responded with a wink. We started chatting for about an hour before I had to leave to go for personal reasons. The following day, I checked his match.com profile, and found that it was removed.

He proceeded to send me this letter.

More about me I am widow ,born in Ireland and spent most of my life in the Dublin,obtained my degree in the Dublin City University ,i lost my wife 3 years ago to an automobile accident...then i decided moving down here into the States to start a new life....I find very much peace and tranquility there .I work as a Civil Engineer. I`m 6`0' with a athletic build , mentally stable, physically fit, a bunch of laughs, warm, caring, honest, good listening, God Fearing, and a positive person.I am real easy person to talk to and a good listener. I love to play golf and I enjoy chilling` with my friend/family but unfortunately i am not close to them at the moment , I like going to the movies , or watching movies in my room , I like swiming , fishing, listening to music and dance to any kind of music, traveling , going bowling and also a good cook.I am a family oriented person and There is more, but it would be better for you to find some things out for yourself..

I discovered that he used the exact same letter on another website called wayn.com.

I had a background check run on him only to discover that his information was wrong, and the person doesn't exist.

We were corresponding back and forth to each other when he proceeded to ask me for money, which i never gave him.

He hit me up on Match.com in June. He hit me up on facebook and just tonight sent me a message on MSN. Same exact thing he told the person up above.

Andrew Thumwood struck again ~ he instant messaged me on match.com last night and we ended up chatting all night....he just seemed too good to be true so I googled his name and your site, here, came up. Huge shout out and thanks to those of you who already posted. He told me a similar story - his wife died 4 years ago, and he hasn't had a girlfriend since. She died in a tragic car accident because of her drinking, and he's be grieving...blah blah blah. He's looking for that one woman who will complete his life. He claimed to be a Civil Engineer and self-employed, and told me that he manages a website. But when I went to the website it didn't make any sense to me it was like a blank template sort of thing. So, thanks again for your posts. very much appreciated. saved me alot of time and trouble checking him out further. Oh, and he claimed to life in Afton, Minnesota.

Ladies.. I got the guy to call me. He does not really speak English, either.. He claims he lived in Agawam Mass. I looked up the number. It is a landline in St Albans WV. I believe he is a scammer. As soon as I told him about what I read, he no longer wanted to talk. He did not ask for money though. But he did write up a four page question and answer sheet for me about my personal life... stay away from this guy.. scarey stuff.

i know well about Andrew Thumwood,he his not a scammer....we both schooled in Dublin City University (DCU),he was a very good person to me and i was only trying to search him on Google if i could get any information about his facebook before i got onto this website,He might be undergoing some problems,even thou he his,he shouldn't be doing nasty stuff like this,i know him too well and am very sure he can't do stuffs you all claiming.... A friend of mine contacted Dublin City University about his claim to be educated as a civil engineer from there. The university never heard of him. Sorry to say, every day one of us contacted him...he did hit us up for money and when he didn't get what he wanted, he got verbally abusive.

Yes...I am shamed to say I got scammed by his Andrew...he also uses Andrew Waneta!! He is very good @ is & so charming...I am stupid & naïve & gullible & fell for his shit!! I am so devastated. I ruined my marriage because of him!! WOW...I thought I would never fall for this kind of crap. I thought I was to smart & knew better. His charms & love letters got me...hook line & sinker!! He wrapped me around his fingers & crushed me...HE also claims to go to church faithfully!! Claims to play Santa for the children @ church ever year. I am so ashamed & mad @ myself I want to die. They often have nice words and playing at feelings of victims, the letters are usually copied and send to many victims. Don't feel shamed keep your spirit and head up, it can happen to anyone. In last four years they scammed me twice, one was recently happened. Thought it will not happened me again but it did. I was looking for love online and thought, it will better to look partner in my own area. So I decided to be member of Dutch dating site, guess wat ? Not expected that Dutch site was based on scamming, their own folk. I reported on delphi hopefully can save others from that horrible website.
