Name: Michael Humbers
Other Comments: Goes through match.com, but contacts you through the instant messaging. I didn't fall for the yahoo account, but set up a gmail account and used firefox with the https higher security browser. I cleared my cookies after every log-in. He wouldn't provide a web-cam interaction. As expected he moved into using the 'love' word extremely fast...and asked for money after a 'misfix' of a pipe which cost him money. Like the other scammers his 'love notes' seemed too well written based on his IM english. He couldn't provide details of his childhood or early college...and the facts he presented could be collected through internet searches of the name he assumed. His profile on match.com was gone days after it appeared. He said he 'hid' it since he was talking to me. Very cunning like most Nigerian scammers. Don't reveal your real name, city, or especially any financial information. Don't send money. He's not real. He'll go away in less than a month...maybe sooner... move on. He won't remember you ... and may even call you the wrong name as he copy and pastes his loving words from a template.
Be strong.... there are REAL MEN out there. And men...beware ... the same scammers pose as women....just visualize the old black man making his bucks in some tent as you fall for his plagerized words.
VERIFY VERIFY VERIFY. Webcams are wonderful...but in person meetings will skim the scum off the top.
